Every Sunday my family and I try to make it a point to have dinner together. No matter how old we get, how busy we are, how far away, or not enough time we have... Family must get together! Last night, we ate at Nobu inside of Caesar's Palace which is one of our favorite spots in Las Vegas.
Back in the day this very simple looking yet very difficult egg dish to perfect was used as a way for Chefs to compete to show their true ninja skills.
Tamago happens to be one of my grandson Jaeden's as well as my daughter Jessi's favorite dishes at a Japanese restaurant. If you haven't tried it, I would definitely recommend trying it once!
So... Yes, almost every Japanese restaurant serves this now days but I am convinced at Nobu they have the BEST! And the cilantro mixes so well with the ponzu and jalapeno!
Yum! Yum! Our favorite dish, for sure although the Salmon New Style is also very delicious hmm, along with everything else! LOL... So for now this is our favorite dish!
Story is... This dish was created once upon a time because a person had sent back a dish of sashimi claiming he/she did not like raw fish... This was Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's fix! Voila!
Who said Japanese restaurants aren't Vegetarian friendly? Just gotta get a little creative and open minded! ;-)
You just can't go wrong here... It's so tasty!! They have changed the black hawaiian sea salt to a soyu sea salt... Mmm, Still tastted great!
Hope you guys enjoyed being walked through my family dinner with my girls!
