  • Blow bubbles outside
  • Decorate bikes and have a 4th of July neighborhood parade
  • Bake cookies for ice cream sandwiches
  • Make fruit popsicles
  • Visit a beach and collect seashells
  • Go hiking
  • Skip rocks at the lake
  • Make a fort out of cardboard boxes or teepees with palm tree leaves
  • Go to a Farmers Market
  • An ABC's scavenger hunt
  • Build a sandcastle
  • Lemonade stand
  • At night build a fire and roast marshmallows for s'mores
  • Have the kids make their own pizza
  • Water balloon fight
  • Bike riding
  • Garden with your little one
  • Art afternoon with sidewalk chalk
  • Ice sledding, find a small hill cover it with ice and slide down
  • A character theme day and be a part of it
  • Go to a museum
  • Stargazing teach them the different constellations

  • Go camping and if not set up a tent in the backyard
